The core operating principle of medium-pressure UV equipment involves special medium-pressure mercury lamps that emit ultraviolet (UV) light across a broad wavelength range (200nm~400nm)—with particular emphasis on the UVC band (200~280nm). This wide spectral output includes multiple wavelengths that are highly effective for sterilization and organic matter decomposition.
Highly durable light source system
The core is a medium pressure mercury lamp, which has high power and wide spectrum output, and can continuously and stably emit full-band ultraviolet rays. Some equipment is also equipped with multiple mercury lamps to increase the intensity of ultraviolet radiation;
Reaction chamber
A well-designed reaction chamber ensures that ultraviolet rays are evenly irradiated on the treatment object, improving the treatment effect. Its material is usually selected from materials with high UV transmittance and corrosion resistance, such as quartz glass;

Photochemical action of ultraviolet rays
1. Reduce the concentration of TOC-medium-pressure ultraviolet irradiation can decompose organic molecules in the swimming pool;
2. Improve the clarity of the pool water-after the use of the ultraviolet system, the transmittance (T10) of the pool water increases from 75% to 95%;
3. Reduce THMs (trihalomethanes)-the photochemical action ability of the ultraviolet system and the reduction of chlorine addition after the introduction of the system make the THMs concentration of the swimming pool lower.
