Cleaning and Drying
Thoroughly clean dust and corrosive residues on the circuit board. Dry the board completely with low-temperature hot air to remove all moisture before waterproofing.
Apply Conformal Coating
Brush or spray three-proof conformal coating on the whole PCB, including components, soldering points and circuit traces. It provides waterproof, moisture-proof, insulation and anti-corrosion protection against hydrogen sulfide.
Potting with Sealant
For high-power and IP65/IP67 models, use silicone or epoxy potting glue to fully encapsulate the circuit board for full waterproofing, shock resistance and long-term corrosion resistance.
Waterproof Terminal Treatment
Use waterproof terminal covers, self-fusing silicone tape and heat shrinkable tubes to seal wire connections and avoid exposed copper wires.
Enclosure Sealing
Install waterproof rubber gaskets on housing seams, apply sealant, and use waterproof cable glands at wire outlets to prevent water and moisture ingress.
Auxiliary Moisture Protection
Place desiccant inside the ballast, install vertically to avoid water accumulation, and keep away from steam and corrosive gas.
