How to Select UV Lamps for UV Sterilizers 1. Choose lamp type

Low-pressure UV lamp (LP)

Single wavelength 254nm, power 10W~320W, service life ≥12000h.

Suitable for clean water, tap water, pure water, routine disinfection.

Medium-pressure UV lamp (MP)

Broad spectrum 200–400nm, power 400W~6000W, service life ≥5000h.

For industrial wastewater, TOC removal, AOP process, chloramine decomposition, preventing microbial photo-reactivation.

Note: Low-pressure and medium-pressure ballasts cannot be interchanged.
