Ensure good heat dissipation and ventilation
Avoid enclosed installation and overcrowded arrangement. Reserve ventilation space and clean dust regularly to prevent overheating.
Stabilize power supply
Install voltage regulators and surge protectors to reduce voltage fluctuation, impulse current and component aging.
Match the load correctly
Select ballasts strictly according to UV lamp power and model. Overload and mismatched connection are prohibited.
Reduce frequent start-stop
Maintain continuous operation as much as possible. Frequent switching causes current impact and shortens service life. Preheat-start ballasts are recommended.
Adopt dimmable intelligent ballasts
Automatically adjust output power according to water flow and water quality to reduce full-load operation and heat generation.
Improve environmental protection performance
Choose ballasts with IP65 or higher protection grade and anti-corrosion coating to resist moisture and corrosive gas in wastewater plants.
Control ambient temperature
Keep away from direct sunlight and high-temperature areas. Good cooling and ventilation effectively slow down component aging.
Carry out regular maintenance
Check wiring, moisture, corrosion and abnormal heat regularly. Timely troubleshooting prevents premature failure.
