Replace standard lamps after 9,000 hours and long-life lamps after 12,000 hours as rated.
Test UV intensity
Use a professional UV intensity meter. Replace the lamp if the reading drops below 70% of the rated value.
Abnormal water quality
If the TOC removal rate decreases obviously and outlet TOC keeps exceeding standard with no other faults found, the lamp is aging.
Visual inspection
Replace immediately if the lamp shows blackening, whitening, cracks, air leakage, flickering or fails to light up.
Working condition comparison
If the treatment performance is much lower than standard under the same flow rate, water temperature and inlet water quality, the lamp is ineffective.
