Preparation Before Repair
Cut off the power completely, disconnect all wires, remove the enclosure, and check for burnt parts, bulged capacitors and broken circuits. Use an anti-static wristband.
Visual Inspection
Check for bulging or leaking electrolytic capacitors, burnt MOS tubes, rectifier bridges and resistors; inspect circuit board for moisture, corrosion and black burnout traces.
Static Detection with Multimeter (Power Off)
Test continuity, check whether MOS tubes, diodes and rectifier bridges are short-circuited; measure resistors and resonant capacitors for open circuit or failure.
Replace Damaged Components
Remove and replace damaged capacitors, MOSFETs, resistors and ICs with the same specifications.
Power-on Test
Power on without load first to check overheating and abnormal noise; then connect a good UV lamp to test ignition, flickering and protection status.
Performance Check
Measure working voltage and current, verify stable operation without overheating, flickering or frequent protection.
Protection and Reinstallation
Apply conformal coating for moisture and corrosion resistance, rearrange wiring, reinstall the housing, and conduct on-site operation test.
