Low water temperature, low UV transmittance, scaling on quartz sleeves or unstable water flow will all reduce the TOC removal efficiency.

Continuous operation leads to certain electricity costs, especially for large-flow units.
Regular maintenance required
Quartz sleeves need periodic cleaning to remove limescale and dirt, otherwise UV penetration will be blocked.
