Advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) are widely used for treating refractory industrial wastewater such as chemical, pharmaceutical, printing and dyeing, and electroplating wastewater. They are also applied in landfill leachate treatment, advanced purification of drinking water, and deep treatment of municipal wastewater for reuse.
