Low‑Pressure UV Sterilizer LP‑UV
Features: Main single germicidal wavelength at 254 nm, low power output, low lamp decay, long lamp service life and low energy consumption with low operating cost. It has a narrow spectrum and barely generates advanced oxidation effect.
Application Scenarios
Drinking water, tap water and secondary water supply for buildings
Pure water, ultrapure water and RO permeate water for food & beverage processes
Small‑size swimming pools and landscape water with low circulating flow rate
Disinfection at the end of sewage treatment and reclaimed water reuse (no TOC degradation required)
Pharmaceutical purified water and laboratory water, working conditions sensitive to spectral interference in water quality
Medium‑and‑small‑scale projects focusing on long‑term electricity cost and lamp replacement expense
Not suitable for: Conditions requiring degradation of chloramine, TOC or combined chlorine, and compact‑installation swimming pool projects with high flow rate.
Medium‑Pressure UV Sterilizer MP‑UV
Features: Broad‑spectrum output 200‑400 nm . It can realize photodegradation besides disinfection. Single lamp delivers high power with compact equipment footprint. It can decompose chloramine and TOC as well as partial organic substances. However, it has shorter lamp lifespan, higher energy consumption and higher capital & maintenance cost.
Application Scenarios
Public large‑scale swimming pools and water parks: Degrade chloramine, reduce irritating odor and disinfection by‑products. This is the most typical application for MP‑UV.
High‑flow circulating water treatment with limited installation space requiring compact equipment size
Demand for both disinfection and photo‑oxidation degradation: removal of chloramine, partial TOC and trace organics
Municipal sewage and industrial wastewater containing organic pollutants
Recirculating water for mariculture and aquariums
Medium‑and‑large‑scale projects demanding high disinfection dosage and tolerance to fluctuating water quality
Not suitable for: Small‑flow pure water and drinking‑water projects -poor cost‑performance when oxidation function is unnecessary.
