DN50 and above large/medium caliber, working pressure ≥1.0MPa high-pressure pipeline systems (e.g., high-rise secondary water supply high-pressure main pipe, industrial sewage pressure delivery pipeline);
On-site pipelines with no installation deviation, precise centering, and no need for disassembly/ maintenance for a long time;
Scenarios with high requirements for sealing stability (e.g., pure water preparation, drinking water terminal disinfection).
High connection rigidity, good sealing stability, not easy to leak under high pressure;
Low long-term operation risk, suitable for fixed pipeline systems with no later transformation plan;
Weld neck flange has better pressure bearing capacity and is adapted to high-pressure/ high-temperature water treatment working conditions.
On-site welding is required, with high construction technology requirements and need for professional welders;
Cannot compensate for pipeline deviation, and secondary cutting/welding is required for misalignment, with high rework cost;
Disassembly and maintenance are extremely inconvenient, and the flange/pipeline needs to be cut for equipment maintenance, which is not suitable for scenarios requiring frequent cleaning of UV disinfectors.
Prioritize 304/316L stainless steel flanges for water treatment, and prohibit carbon steel flanges for drinking water scenarios;
Welding must ensure no weld penetration and slag inclusion to avoid impurities entering the pipeline and scratching the UV quartz sleeve;
Tighten the flange bolts diagonally and evenly, and select metal spiral wound gaskets for high-pressure working conditions.
